Protest the Hero, City and Colour, A cursive Memory

Hello friends of Vagrant!

We're getting ready to kick off a very busy 4 months, so here's what's going on.



PROTEST THE HERO STREAM FORTRESS


All of the press have been raving over Protest The Hero's new album.
It comes out on Tuesday, but you can stream the entire album over at their myspace page. ( http://www.myspace.com/protestthehero ). The band will tour Canada at the end of this week and then head to the US for a nationwide tour with Silverstein. Dates are on teir myspace page so be sure to check them out.

CITY AND COLOUR ANNOUNCE US SHOWS, TICKETS GOING FAST



City and Colour are going to be playing special shows in New York and Los Angeles in March! These one off shows are special events and tickets for them are already selling fast. It's predicted that these will easily sell out in advance so here are the details:

03.19.08 New York City, NY The Knitting Factory
03.25.08 L.A., CA The Knitting Factory

For those of you who make the trek every summer to SXSW in Austin, TX, City and Colour will be playing the NXNE showcase at Momos on 3.15. Advanced Ticketing isnt available but City and Colour goes on at Midnight, so get there early to make sure you get in!

A CURSIVE MEMORY PREORDER BEGINS

NEWSLETTER: Protest The Hero and City and Colour put new songs on myspace


Hello all, we hope your holidays were wonderful. We've got an exciting first 3 months of the year, so here's an update for the first two releases.



Protest The Hero is back!

In order to prepare everyone for the 1/29 release of their new studio album Fortress, check the newly redesigned Protest The Hero myspace on Tuesday to hear the new song "Bloodmeat". You can watch the video for it there as well! ( http://www.myspace.com/protestthehero )

Then on 1/8, US residents can head to iTunes to purchase the first single Sequoia Throne and get 2 instrumentals from Fortress for free! Check the band's myspace page for a link or just search the iTunes Music Store next Tuesday!

The band will be on tour with Silverstein in February and March, so be sure to get your tickets today!




City and Colour prepare for first US release!

After developing a huge Canadian following, singer/songwriter City and Colour are coming out with their first US release. Bring Me Your Love will hit stores and be available online on 2/12, but in the meantime check out the first single 'Waiting..." on his myspace. Look for more updates about touring plans soon!
