Four arrested for protest inside Ferg

Four participants in an anti-war demonstration were arrested Friday by University police. The group, whose names have not been released by the University, reportedly stormed through the second-floor doors of the plaza entrance to the Ferguson Center around midday Friday and began yelling and cursing.

Big Al is making a play for the cover of EA Sports' "NCAA Football '09" for the Nintendo Wii. College football fans can currently vote for their mascot of choice through the official Electronic Arts Web site, www.easports.com/ncaa09. The Wii version will be the only cover to sport the winning mascot, a unique trait because this iteration of "NCAA Football" will mark the first time the game is available for Nintendo's latest console. A student found in possession of a machete has been referred to Judicial Affairs, UA spokeswoman Schandra Clark said The machete was found in the student's room at Parker Adams Hall Thursday. Clark said the student told authorities he used the machete for chopping for vegetables. Full Story
