Sigma Alpha Lambda Students Invited to Vote on Speaker

Hello SAL Members,

My name is Frank Manzella and I am a member of Sigma Alpha Lambda as well as a member of the Last Lecture Student Selection Committee.

This email it to let you know that nominations for the 2008 Last Lecture Award are now open until the end of February. (You may recall the Graduate School initiated this new lecture series last year.) Students and alumni are invited to nominate the faculty member they would most like to hear a lecture delivered on this premise: "If this were your last chance to talk to a group of UA students, what would you say to them?"

Last year's lecture was a huge success. The Student Selection Committee chose Dr. Ron Dulek from the College of Commerce and Business Administration as the inaugural speaker. We know this year's lecture will be just as successful, but we need your help in getting the word out to students and alumni. You may nominate using our electronic nomination (http://graduate.ua.edu/events/lastlecture.html).

Thanks for helping us honor faculty members who are committed to making a difference in the lives of UA students.
