| One of the best Valentine's I've ever had was like 4 years ago. One of my very good friends and I went to the TLA in Philly to see this really amazingly emoish piano rock band, unfortunately we didn't know the show was a private show...put on for this High School, they must have won a contest. So basically they wouldn't let us in, we didn't give up though...we basically stood next to the security guard outside the venue...listening to our favorite songs and singing along. We were there for about 15 minutes before we were let in. I chock that act of kindness up to either 1. He wanted to throw us through a wall because we were completely obnoxious and off key. 2. It was Valentine's Day and we were standing pathetically outside a venue instead of being all warm and cozy inside somewhere on a date. It was an amazing show...the band doesn't make music anymore. :( - SUE | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
