Join UA's chapter of the National Residence Hall Honorary

Welcome Back!

Dear Residence Hall Community:

The University of Alabama is proud to have a chapter of the National Residence Hall Honorary. Established in 1964, the national organization recognizes the top 1% of student leaders who positively impact the residential community. The newly reestablished chapter of NRHH at UA is now accepting applications for 2008.

Unlike honorariums that acknowledge only academic excellence, NRHH recognizes leadership in, and commitment to, improving the lives of on campus residents. It seeks to identify those who have extraordinarily benefitted the residential community. Applicants must be in good
standing with the University and have lived at least two semesters on campus (residents who are currently in their second semester living on campus are eligible to apply).

We encourage students to nominate themselves as well as others. Applications are available at the following link:

Selected staff and students will judge the entries and notify inductees accordingly.

The UA NRHH Chapter will continue to recognize people who positively affect residents. This is a tremendous chance to acknowledge those who have bettered The University of Alabama community. We hope you will take advantage of this opportunity and set forth those who truly deserve this honor.

Applications are due to Housing and Residential Communities located on the first floor of Burke Hall East on January 25, 2008.

Sincerely,

The National Residence Hall Honorary and
Housing and Residential Communities
