FOR SCIENCE "Tomorrow's Just Another Day" gatefold cover LP ($8.25)

For Science could've just released the "Way Out of Control" EP and still had one of the best records of the year, but apparently that wasn't enough: 12 brand new songs that take the promise of "Way Out of Control" and branch off in plenty of new, unexpected, and exciting directions!

IRON LUNG "Sexless / No Sex" LP/CD ($6.75 / $7.50) (PRANK 092)

Destructive power violence hardcore! The debut Prank LP from Seattle-via-San Francisco-via-Reno's IRON LUNG features their abrasive blend of low end crushing heavy lumbering, split with devastating and inventive fast thrash and bleak lyrics skewed through medical malpractice. A 20-song second LP following up their "Life. Iron Lung.Death" LP on 625 Thrash on top of a ridiculous number of 7"'s, split releases, cassettes, CD-R's and other limited releases. The duo that is IRON LUNG sit at the forefront of the modern power violence resurgence, continually re-inventing the formula and pushing it to new extremes. IRON LUNG members were previously in ARTIMUS PYLE, GEHENNA, GOB and VAE VICTUS and have toured extensively throughout the US and Europe, been on TV in Iceland and also toured Australia, where they will return in 2008.

"SEXLESS//NO SEX" was recorded at Polymorph Studios by Dan Rathbun (whose engineering and production includes some of the best of extreme underground hardcore - TRAGEDY, HIS HERO IS GONE, WORLD BURNS TO DEATH, FROM ASHES RISE).

The cover artwork is mind blowing pen-and-ink scratching by NICK BLINKO of RUDIMENTARY PENI!

Also back in print from PRANK:

KYLESA "S/T" LP ($6.00)

NEW from 1-2-3-4-Go! RECORDS:

ARRIVALS / BROKEDOWNS split 7" ($3.00) (Go-27)

Stevo sez: "3 new songs from both of these Chicagoland bands. The Arrivals have a new record on Recess called "Marvels of Industry" that I highly recommend. I’ll use the shallow plug of “Paddy from D4 is in this band now and on this record” for those of you who enjoy such things, because it’s in your best musical interest to buy this thing no matter what pretenses it’s under. The Brokedowns have no Paddy, but they do have a record on Thick called "New Brains for Everyone" - check it out!"

Two new songs each from two bands that put out criminally few records. If you like Crimpshrine, Allergic To Bullshit, Shotwell, Sexy, Jack Palance Band, ADD/C, Hidden Spots and Giant Bags of Weed...these guys do too. So much so that they were in those bands! Was that a clever way of saying "ex-members of"? No? Well I'll try harder next time!
