Work for WVUA

90.7 The Capstone WVUA-FM, is the University of Alabama's student-run radio station. We are looking for a few more students who are interested in joining the Promotions Department at 90.7 FM. Email Martha Jean Schindler, Promotions Director, at wvuapromo@sa.ua.edu for more information. Here are the leadership opportunities we have open:

Graphic Design Team - If you are involved in graphic design or just want to give a shot at it, we want your involvement. We want as many students with graphic design interests to work on our team as possible to design various campaign images. This is a great way for you to explore graphic design and advertising and build your portfolio.

Giveaway Team - We acquire and manage ticket giveaways for a lot of events, and we need a small team to work on this and make sure it runs smoothly. This will develop your written and communication skills and will put you in touch with people in the music and promotions industry.

Event Planning Team - To make our benefit concerts, remote broadcasts, and staff parties great we need your organization skills. If you love to throw parties and get people together, this is the team for you.

Also, 90.7 FM is a non-profit organization, so any work you do for the station can be listed as volunteer hours on your resume. Future employers will love you for it!
